We're celebrating Canada's 150th birthday by collecting postcards from across Canada! We would love for you to participate! Send your postcard and be included on our virtual thank you card!

This July, Canada turns 150!

Our country is young and beautiful!

I’ve been trying to think of ways to commemorate this occasion with my children (and also make it as educational as I can). So here’s what we’re doing:  A “tour” of Canada!

We would love your help!

I was inspired by this post on Kid’s Activities Blog and we’re doing something similar.

We would like to collect postcards from cities and provinces across Canada. We want to hear what you LOVE about Canada. When each postcard comes in, we’ll document and research where it came from and mark it on our own Canadian map!

We are hoping for 150 postcards by July 1, 2017! This is an ambitious goal, so feel free to share this post with your family and friends!

This #homeschool family is collecting 150 postcards from across #Canada! Join in the fun! Click To Tweet

If you mail in a postcard, we’ll add you to our virtual thank you card – listing your name(s) and the city your postcard came from. If you’re a fellow blogger, we invite you to write the URL of your website on the postcard and we’ll make sure to include the hyperlink back to your site on our virtual thank you card.
