“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:11
I love Christmas. My children love Christmas. While there is an undeniable beauty in this holiday season, the focus of Christ’s birth can be overshadowed by high expectations and multiple demands. Among numerous preparations, gifts to buy, cards to send, and baking to do, there are also homeschooling commitments.
This time of year can be particularly demanding of homeschoolers. There are important preparations to make before taking a well-deserved break. Homeschooling families find themselves wrapping up assignments, reporting progress, and planning curriculum for the coming year. All of this activity can rob us of our enjoyment of this beautiful holiday season.
